Brown

Chocolate is not so common in the UK, but unmistakable when well bred. It can vary from slightly off-black to a milky chocolate shade, although a dark plain chocolate colour is preferred.

• B - Black, dominant wildtype gene (so "no effect")
• b - Brown, recessive gene giving

These are the only known alleles, although in other fancies both dark and light brown mutations have been recorded at this locus, so maybe we have those to look forward to in the future.
