Burmese
This gene affects only rats who are Siamese, Himalayan, or albino. Its existance is not scientifically described [I am using this symbol just out of convenience], but it appears to work with the following alleles:
This gene is currently "theoretical", so the notation used for it and the mode of inheritance currently theorised may change. The current thinking described above is based on breeding results so far. The show standards are based on chch based rats - these varieties can also be chc or cc based, the main overall colour varies little but the quality of the points is poorer in the chc based, and the points are non-existant in the cc based rats.
